This project works with Saint Mary’s Church at their Lodge Road site as they have planted a new worshipping community within building.
We are addressing practical needs where the roof leaks, heating is inadequate, there is no insulation, there is no permanent hospitality, and no accessible toilets.
We are also looking at how the church building will form part of the missional toolkit as the new worshipping community seeks to meet and support the local community.
This involves offering attractive and flexible environment that provides a hospitable welcome. It also involves using the building to invite and host the local community, placing the church at its centre.
